Christy Guenther shares story of Haiti orphanage

Christy Guenther  shares information about a number of  projects that she has been engaged with in Haiti as Rotary guest speaker on October 28. She is the Dean of Residential Life and First Lady at San Marcos Academy. Christy married Brian Guenther in December of 1999 after meeting at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  Today, Christy serves as the Executive Director for His Glory Outreach, a non-profit ministry, partnering with Maison des Enfants de Dieu, an orphanage in Haiti, as they seek to care for and meet the needs of orphans in Haiti.
She is also the co-founder of TEEM Haiti, a non-profit seeking to teach, empower, equip, and mentor the people of Haiti. Together, she and Brian have four children: Caleb, Wilson, Faith, and Grace.  Their family has been featured in the Emmy Award-winning news special, Children Left Behind: A KVUE Defenders Investigation.
