Juan Miguel Arredondo will share information about United Way of Hays & Caldwell Counties at Rotary on
September 24.
United Way funds 30 nonprofits in Hays and Caldwell Counties, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, CASA of Central Texas, Combined Community Action – Meals on Wheels, Any Baby Can, GEN, Greater San Marcos Youth Council, Hays Caldwell Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse, Hays County Food Bank, Salvation Army, San Marcos Housing Authority Resident Services, and San Marcos Youth Service Bureau.
As President & CEO of United Way of Hays & Caldwell Counties, Arredondo is leading the effort to expand community impact, build strategic partnerships, and increase resources for local nonprofits.
A San Marcos native and Texas State University graduate, Arredondo brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, public policy, and community engagement. Before stepping into his role at United Way, he served as Chief of Staff to State Representative Erin Zwiener and has been a longtime elected trustee on the San Marcos CISD school board.
