New SMTX Rotary Banner Celebrates Unique Things About San Marcos

Rotary clubs often have small banners that clubs and members can present to other Rotarians and other clubs. For example, when Rotarians travel they may take a banner to present to another club in the U.S. or anywhere in the world.

This new banner celebrates things that are special about SMTX including Texas State University, the San Marcos River, 13,000 years of indigenous history, and our location in the heart of Texas.

Peter Baen, Seth Worley and a number of other Rotarians exchanged ideas about a new banner for some time before deciding on this design.  Banners will be available at meetings for a nominal charge.
