The Rotary Club of San Marcos Texas USA will sponsor its second Rise Against Hunger event on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 9-12. We will purchase and package almost 15,000 meal packets for shipment to famine stricken people overseas. Last year the meals went to Burundi, East Africa. Rotary needs more than 150 volunteers and small or large cash donations for this effort.
In addition to Rise Against Hunger, San Marcos Rotary this year is raising funds to benefit the Hays Food Bank and San Marcos School Fuel. Donations of food or cash would be much appreciated for these efforts too.
