Rotarians from Del Rio to Hillsboro met in San Marcos on May 2-4 for a Celebration of Districts. Rotary Districts 5840 and 5870 participated. Approximately 115 clubs are in the two districts. San Marcos Rotarians not only attended the event, they did the heavy lifting to execute a service project that benefitted San Marcos School Fuel. Rotarians hauled food from the School Fuel facility to Embassy Suites for bagging by Rotarians from all over Central and South Texas.
San Marcos Mayor Jane Hughson welcomed Rotarians to San Marcos on May 3. Later in the day she joined in the fun at the evening Casino gala by serving as a blackjack dealer.
