Food Bank Donations
As part of World Food Day service projects on October 16, SMTX Rotary is collecting nonperishable food for the Hays County Food Bank.
Canned or boxed items can be brought to the next several meetings. Food can also be brought to First Lutheran Church on October 16. Billy Pullen will
collect donations and arrange delivery. This is a local service component to go with the international service project, Rise Against Hunger.
The Rotary program October 13 features Michael Pigg from School Fuel, another food program Rotary has supported. It provides food for kids on the weekends and over holidays.
Rotary Club of San Marcos meets Wednesdays at noon at the Holiday Inn Convention Center, 105 Bintu Dr., San Marcos Visitors are always welcome. Come learn about Rotary.
