Donations to Fall 2022 Hunger Projects

Good Day Fellow Rotarians and Concerned Community Members,

The October 15 is fast approaching.  The target this year is $15,000 and $50,000 next year. We plan to pack 15,000 meals for shipment overseas as we did last year as well as raising significant funds for School Fuel and the Hays County Food Bank to serve food insecure people locally.

I propose the following plan to raise the funds. 
The plan is to create a model that can be used year on year to grow the funding going forward.

I will need assistance with creating a database for email campaigns to update donors and potential donors.  A graphic web page to show the funds donated/received would be a handy tool.

I am an accomplished beggar - I have no qualms asking people for money and assistance for those in need.  All I ask is for fellow Rotarians to send the names and contact details of potential  donors to me and I will do the rest. 

The idea is to partition the community into segments and interest groups to reach everybody far & wide.

Every name that I receive will be asked to sponsor one of the following:-

• A Day Sponsor -      Bronze -     $1 - this will pay for 3 x 33 cent meals 
• A Week Sponsor -   Silver -       $7
• A Month Sponsor - Gold -        $30
• A Year Sponsor -     Platinum - $365

To-date we have 3 x Bronze Sponsors and 1 x Platinum Sponsors  -  a total of $375

All we need is 40 x Platinum Sponsors to achieve the target for 2022
