Rotary Fellowships bring Rotarians together who have different interests

Rotary International recognizes the importance of international fellowship and good will among Rotarians with similar recreational interests, vocations, and health and medical issue-oriented interests, to promote increased participation in fellowships and increase understanding of this program.

Longtime San Marcos Rotarians probably remember that San Marcos member and District Governor, Al Brieger, was a long-time member of the Rotary RV Fellowship. He and his wife traveled all over the country in their RV, meeting up with other Rotarians.  Rotary Fellowships exist for almost any interest you can imagine. They are a way to combine Rotary with other life interests and meet new people who share those interests.

Examples of fellowship groups include:
Amateur radio, antique automobiles, bees, beer, bird watching, chess, cycling, educators, environment, fishing, flying, genealogy, gin, golf, gourmet cooking, hiking, hunting, jazz, LGBT, lawyers, military veterans, motorcycling, music, photography, quilting, police and law enforcement, railroads, rv's, rum, scouting, scuba, skiing, tennis, travel, whiskey, wildlife conservation, wine, yoga. There are many more!
